Delhi: Gangsters nabbed, vehicles seized for carrying weapons

Four companions of a murder accused, Arun Yadav were arrested for allegedly carrying weapons in their vehicles near Surajpur District Court. Police have seized the vehicles and weapons from the accused persons' possession.

Noida: As many as four gangsters were arrested for allegedly carrying weapon in their vehicles near Surajpur District Court in Greater Noida in Delhi on Thursday. The identities of the accused persons are yet to be ascertained.

According to sources, a murder accused, Arun Yadav was brought to Surajpur District Court this morning while, the four companions of the accused were also entered with him.

Following this, the police have stopped them and when the police checked their vehicles, three weapons were found in it. Police interrogated them and arrested them from the spot.

We have seized four vehicles and weapons from the accused persons' possession. All weapons are licensed and they did not enter into the court's premises. They were trying to enter into the court and meanwhile, police personnel started interrogating them. Subsequently, police have arrested the four accused from the spot," said Harish Chanda, DCP, Noida.
