New Delhi: In the light of another Sikh girl reported to have been kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam in Pakistan, the president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Saturday said that they are planning to stage a protest outside Pakistan's High Commission in Delhi and they will also take up the matter before the Ministry of External Affairs.
The daughter of Pritam Singh, granthi of Gurdwara Panja Sahib was kidnapped a few days ago. In a video message sent to some Sikh bodies, Pritam Singh, evidently distressed, said he fears conversion of his daughter to Islam and requested help.

"Sikhs in Pakistan are being tortured, they are being forced to accept Islam. There have been cases where girls were kidnapped and then later forced to marry a Muslim man. This is an absolute shame and it reflects the hollowness of democracy there. Prime Minister of Pakistan should be ashamed of this matter," president of DSGMC said.
He further added that Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee raises its voice on any persecution that happens to Sikhs across the world. "Committee members will be approaching the Ministry of External Affairs at 2 o'clock today to talk about these situations being created in Pakistan," Manjinder Singh Sirsa added.
