New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a barber's finger was bitten off by his customer at Moti Nagar area here on Friday.
The incident took place, when the barber identified as Jagnarayana asked for Rs 90 from his costumer Abhimanyu, who was only ready to pay Rs 20.
According to police, a heated argument broke out when Jagnarayana demanded the remaining amount of Rs 70 from Abhimanyu. In a fit of rage, the accused bit off Jagnarayana's finger, police said.
According to locals, the accused who worked in a call center was caught and handed over to the police. Later, Jagnarayana was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The 37-year-old victim, who resides in Moti Nagar area with his family hails from Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police detained the accused and a case has been registered at Moti Nagar Police Station.
