Reacting on Afridi's comment, the former Indian opener said that some people grow by their age and their mind decreases. He said he had already tweeted about Afridi's comment.

"My father has his business in the East Delhi constituency since a very long time. I am born and brought up in Delhi," Gambhir retorted when his reaction was sought on Congress candidate's remark that he was an outsider on a picnic in East Delhi.
