New Delhi: As the BJP government has made several constitutional reforms and amendments in last six months, the Constitutional expert, Subhash Kashyap has criticised the politicians at Gandhi Smriti Memorial complex in Delhi on Monday.
Kashyap was presiding over the release program of a book on Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Smriti Memorial complex.
Constitutional expert, Subhash Kashyap lashed out at the politicians, saying that today's leaders certainly cannot be of Gandhian ideology, whereas Mahatma Gandhi used to talk of a simple life, today's politicians believe in living a luxurious life.

Recalling the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi, Kashyap said, "this is not the India of Gandhi's dream. Gandhi wanted to reduce the distance between the hut and the Parliament, but today's government is envisaging a second New Delhi in which the new Parliament building will be established. Many big new buildings will be built and the old will be broken. In this way, crores of rupees will be spent on the hard-earned income of the public".
During his address, he also gave many recommendations to the politicians and the government and also lashed them out fiercely. At the same event, the attendees were seen welcoming the words of Subhash Kashyap with applause. Many Union ministers and MPs were also present on the occasion, sources said.
