New Delhi: Reacting to Bihar Congress in-charge Bhakta Charan Das's comment, Senior BJP leader RK Sinha said that he is shocked and saddened by the statements. He added that it was the Congress who first started politics on the name of Lord Ram and continues doing so.
"If you are really a Ram devotee, then go to Ram's shelter with dedication. Why are you trying to tell Prime Minister Modi ji what was the conduct of Ram and what was not? Read Ramayana before talking about Ram and Ravana. These are the Congressmen who affirmatively say in the Supreme Court that Ram is a fictional character and was never born? These are the Congressmen who say that even after NASA took pictures from space the Ram Setu was never built," RK Sinha said.
He further demanded the Congress should stop indulging in petty politics in the name of religion.

The Bihar Congress chief had earlier taking a dig at the BJP government said that those who ask for votes in the name of Ram are behaving like Ravana with the protesting farmers.
