The disagreements between the two constituents of the NDA over seat-sharing seem to persist despite BJP JP Nadda's claims that all is well in the alliance.

New Delhi: LJP chief Chirag Paswan, who has been unhappy with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, held a meeting here with the party MPs to decide if they should continue to be a part of the NDA in election-bound Bihar.

LJP and Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) have been at loggerheads over many issues, including functioning of the Bihar government, for a long time with Chirag Paswan raising voice against it quite often.

On Monday, he wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, purportedly setting out his stand on seat-sharing for the upcoming assembly election.

The disagreements between the two constituents of the NDA over seat-sharing seem to persist despite BJP JP Nadda's claims that all is well in the alliance.

Interacting with ETV Bharat on various occasions in the recent past, Chirag Paswan made it clear that he is not happy with the JD(U) and may go solo in contesting the state assembly elections.
