Ola driver stops car to urinate, stabbed to death in New Delhi

A 30-year-old Ola cab driver was stabbed to death at Jahangirpuri in New Delhi on his way back to home. The incident took place near Sangam Park when the victim Vipin stopped his vehicle to urinate on the roadside

New Delhi: A 30-year-old Ola cab driver was stabbed to death at Jahangirpuri in New Delhi on Thursday night. The bizarre incident took place near Sangam Park when Vipin stopped his vehicle to urinate on the roadside while he was returning to his home.

Seeing him, some miscreants sitting in the park approached him and asked for a lift. When Vipin refused to give the lift, they stabbed him brutally.

After getting information the Bharatnagar Police reached the spot and took him to a nearest hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. Police have sent the body for autopsy. Later the incident was reported to the Bharat Nagar police station.

According to an eyewitness, people captured one of the criminals and handed him over to the police. Later the police made the second arrest based on the information they received from the first accused.

Mother of the ill-fated man said, "Vipin is married and has two children. He was the breadwinner of our family. He was driving a taxi to feed the family, but now everything is gone. The children are still waiting for their father to come home."
