New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for the second time on Thursday after a spectacular victory in the Lok sabha elections a week ago. Along with him, those leaders who have to be ministers in the central government also took oath of office and secrecy.
Ashwini Choubey, MP from Bihar, has again become a minister in the central government.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Choubey said that he was grateful to PM Modi for giving him a place in cabinet.
"I will try to stand up to peoples' expectations, I am here to serve the country," said Choubey.
He further said that I became MP from Buxar for the second time, people have a lot of expectations from me and I will fulfil them.
It is to be noted that JD(U) refused to be part of the Narendra Modi government complaining about inadequate representation in the government.
On this matter, Choubey said that JD(U) is an old ally of BJP and hoping that they will join the government soon.
