Bollywood actress Gul Panag joins farmers protest in Jantar Mantar

About 200 women from the Singhu border have reached Delhi's Jantar Mantar, where the Kisan Sansad is being held. Today, Bollywood actress and social activist Gul Panag, who fought for the right of farmers for a long time, also reached the Kisan Sansad in Jantar Mantar.

New Delhi: Today, eight-months have been completed for the ongoing farmers' movement on the three borders of Delhi. On the occasion of the completion of 8-months of the movement, the Kisan Sansad is being conducted entirely by women today. About 200 women from the Singhu border have reached Delhi's Jantar Mantar, where the Kisan Sansad is being held. Today, Bollywood actress and social activist Gul Panag, who fought for the right of farmers for a long time, also reached the Kisan Sansad in Jantar Mantar.

She spoke to the media and said that the three agricultural laws which have been implemented by the government, have been implemented wrongly. She added that the farmers and farmer leaders believe that the three agricultural laws that have been passed, was not done in the right manner. She further added that farmers can discuss it but they can't move forward until those laws are withdrawn. She added that we are ready to negotiate with the government, but there is a way to make laws that are enshrined in our constitution. The government should make a law following the constitution, only then farmers will hold talks with the government.

She added that the farmers and farmer leaders believe that the three agricultural laws that have been passed, was not done in the right manner. She further added that farmers can discuss it but they can't move forward until those laws are withdrawn. She added that we are ready to negotiate with the government, but there is a way to make laws that are enshrined in our constitution. The government should make a law following the constitution, only then farmers will hold talks with the government.
