New Delhi: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday welcomed the decision of the Government to ban 59 Chinese applications including tik-tok.

Manoj Tiwari said: "Brothers and sisters, let us all say goodbye to these 59 Chinese apps and say 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'."

"The money of our country was going to China through all these mobile applications," Tiwari said.

"China is attacking our nation which is not right. We love the app, not the country. Patriotism is on top for me," Tiwari added.

On Monday evening, the government banned 59 Chinese apps under national security considerations, a move seen as India's response to China's recent misadventures that resulted in casualties on both sides.
