New Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra on Wednesday demanded from Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal removal of Zafarul Islam from the post of chairman of Delhi Minorities Commission.
This comes after the controversial statement made by Zafarul Islam on social media that Indian Muslims have not yet complained to the Arab world about hate campaigns against them in India.
"Mind you, bigots, Indian Muslims have opted until now not to complain to the Arab and Muslim world about your hate campaigns and lynchings and riots. The day they are pushed to do that, bigots will face an avalanche," said Islam on Facebook.
Saying Jafarul Islam, a supporter of terrorist, BJP leader Kapil Mishra has objected to Zafarul Islam becoming the chairman of Minorities Commission.
Zafarul Islam will have to step down from his post. Such a poisonous and terrorist thinking person cannot be placed on any constitutional post, Kapil Mishra said.
The Delhi government has appointed Mohammad Zafarul Islam Khan as the chairman of the Delhi Minorities Commission on July 2017.
