New Delhi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajoy Kumar quit his post on Friday, accusing some colleagues of promoting their own interests over the party's and indulging in corrupt practices.
While commenting on his resignation, Jharkhand Congress Leader, RPN Singh said that it is unfortunate that Kumar had to resign. He worked tirelessly to strengthen the party and raised significant issues to help people from time to time.
"I will talk Congress High Command about his resignation letter in which he accused many leaders. Ajoy shouldn't have published his resignation letter publicly. I can not say anything about the action to be taken against the listed leaders," Singh said.
