New Delhi: Terming the three agriculture ordinances, which were presented in Lok Sabha on the very first day of the delayed monsoon session of parliament, as "farmer-friendly", Vijay Sardana, an economist, said these would help farmers across the country in a big way.

Talking to ETV Bharat here, the expert said all three agriculture ordinances are very important as they set farmers free to sell his/her produce anywhere in the world.

"A farmer is no longer forced to sell his/her produce in the traditional grain market as he/she can take it directly to the consumer," he said, adding that the farmer even can directly export his/her produce.
