New Delhi: Denying all accusations of initiating violent episodes in Uttar Pradesh, BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said that it is the Aam Aadmi Party that is involved in such incitements. He also claimed that his party will conquer Delhi will more than 50 seats in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
"AAP is inciting violence in Uttar Pradesh and is trying to take BJP's cover to hide its wrongdoings. While BJP is trying to maintain peace, AAP leaders are provoking people in the name of CAA and NRC," Tiwari said while talking to ETV Bharat.
Targetting AAP MP Sanjay Singh, he said: "Sanjay Singh has claimed that the BJP will make attempts at creating ruckus in Shaheen Bagh on February 2. I would like to appeal to the Election Commission to put me under house arrest before any such episode takes place."
"Why am I being dragged into this?," he questioned.
Manoj Tiwari has claimed that BJP will emerge victorious with more than 50 seats in Delhi Assembly elections.
Tiwari also praised BJP's manifesto that was released on Friday. He said his party has elaborated all the welfare and development schemes to be introduced for the people of Delhi in its manifesto, with special preference to women and girl children.
He asserted that the "already functional welfare programs will not be scrapped after BJP's victory in the state. But the party will bring in additional schemes for providing better facilities to the people of Delhi."
On being questioned about contesting elections on the basis of Hindutva and Shaheen Bagh, he said: "BJP is not running on the basis of Shaheen Bagh and it is evident from the manifesto released today."
