AAP legislator Vishesh Ravi donates plasma at AIIMS in Delhi

After being tested negative for the novel coronavirus, Aam Aadmi Party legislator from the Karol Bagh, Vishesh Ravi along with his brother donated plasma at AIIMS in New Delhi. Ravi donated the plasma to a retired elderly official of the Air Force. The AAP leader was also given a 'corona warrior' certificate by the hospital.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from the Karol Bagh, Vishesh Ravi donated plasma at AIIMS after being tested negative for the novel coronavirus on Friday.

He donated the plasma to a retired elderly official of the Air Force. Ravi's brother Ankit also donated the plasma.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Ravi said, "I donated the plasma to a retired elderly official of the Air Force. His family had contacted for it so I along with my brother came to the AIIMS and donated the plasma."

He also appealed to people, who got recovered from the COVID-19, to come forward and donate the plasma to the needy.

The AAP leader was also given a 'corona warrior' certificate by the hospital.

It is to be noted that the AAP leader was tested positive on May 1. Since then he was in home quarantine and recovered fully as he was asymptomatic.
