New Delhi: Four people received serious injuries after some people from a rival clan opened fire at them in Mitraon village, Najafgarh. The fifth person was attacked with sticks and stones. All of them have been admitted to the Vikas Hospital in Najafgarh.
According to the preliminary reports, police believe it was a gangwar. The dispute between the two groups has been going on for the last three years over a plot of land of 400 yards in the village.
Later, the dispute turned to a conflict which resulted in the firing. Four people were injured and one was beaten with sticks and stones.
The victims have been identified as Amarjeet Gehlot, Satish, Sudarshan and Navin. Amarjeet is currently admitted in ICU, while the other three are stated to be out of danger.
Police reached the spot and arrested some people in connection with the firing. Further investigations are underway.
