Telangana state committee secretary of CPI (Maoist) dies of Covid-19

Covid-19 and food poisoning are wreaking havoc on the Naxalites in the Dantewada district in the state of Chhattisgarh. Several leaders including the Telangana State Committee Secretary of People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), Haribhushan has also died of Covid-19 and food poisoning.

Dantewada (Chhattisgarh): Covid-19 and food poisoning are wreaking havoc on the Naxalites in the Dantewada district in the state of Chhattisgarh. Several leaders including the Telangana State Committee Secretary of People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), Haribhushan also died of Covid-19 and food poisoning.

Dantewada SP Abhishek Pallav has confirmed the development. The SP said that Haribhushan had a cash reward of Rs 40 lakh on his head. He was suffering from Covid-19 for a long time. He died due to not getting treatment on time.

Naxalite leader Haribhushan was a resident of Mariguda village in the Kottaguda area of ​​Mahabubabad district of Telangana. In 1995 he joined the Peoples War Guerrilla (PWG). After that, he was active in the Pamed area of ​​the Bijapur district of Bastar for the last several years. He got the responsibility of the post of the Secretary of Telangana State Committee.

According to the information, several Naxal leaders are struggling with Covid-19. Sonu, the commander of battalion number 2 is ill with Covid along with battalion members - Jaiman, Nandu, Deva are also ill. DVCM members Rajesh and Vinod are also suffering from Covid-19 and food poisoning for the last few days. The police have announced cash rewards on all of these Naxalites.
