Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) : Praveen Togadia, President of the International Hindu Council, in his reaction to the ongoing political clash on Bajrangbali and Bajrang Dal, said that all parties worship Hanuman ji in the country, whether it be BJP or Congress and everyone will have a picture of Hanuman ji in their homes.
Stating that there should be no violence in the country, Praveen Togadia said that the Hindus are in danger and asked who beheaded Kanhaiya, who cut Shraddha into pieces, who is doing targetted killings in Kashmir and who killed Hindus on Ram Navami in Sambalpur, Odisha. "Those jihadi organizations should be banned. Hindus have become their target," he added.
Speaking to the media, Togadia also spoke openly on the functioning of the state government, conversions, love jihad, cow slaughter along with the film The Kerala Story. Togadia praised the plans of CM, saying "Bhupesh Baghel has developed Ram Path Gaman in Chhattisgarh, which no one else has done in the whole of India."

Praveen Togadia said that "Hindu awakening has been good and tremendous in the whole country. Still attacks are happening. We are worried why attacks happen only on Ram Navami. Why are Hindus always killed. Attacks never happen on Eid or Muharram. Right now the struggle to save Hindus is going on."
Advocating law on cow slaughter: Regarding cow slaughter, Praveen Togadia said that "cow slaughter will not stop until there is a law to ban it in the country. This law must be made. The way Article 370 is removed. Similarly, the central government should also make a law on cow slaughter." Praveen Togadia said about the film The Kerala Story that "This is an alarming topic for the Hindu society. Our sisters and daughters are not safe from love jihad, this is the message of the Kerala film."
Praveen Togadia took a jibe at tribal leader Nandkumar Sai's Congress entry and said that "Nowadays any Congress person joins BJP and any BJP person goes to Congress. Now it seems both the parties have started loving each other."
Bhupesh Baghel government praised: Praveen Togadia praised the schemes being run by CM Bhupesh Baghel for the farmers in Chhattisgarh. He said "the work done by CM Bhupesh Baghel for cattle, was not done in any other state. If BJP people do good work for Hindus, then praise them too and if Congress people do it, then more people will come forward to work in favor of Hindus."
