Champa (Chhattisgarh): A paddy crop that was kept open in the field caught fire and was turned into ashes in Champa in Chhattisgarh.
The farmer, Lambodar Prasad had kept the paddy in his field after harvesting the crop.
Some people in the adjacent field set their paddy stubble on fire and within no time the paddy that was kept in the field of Prasad caught fire.
Soon after the incident the farmer and the district administration and the fire brigade reached on the spot.
Meanwhile, Prasad has filed a complaint against unknown persons in this connection.
The Sub-divisional magistrate of Champa has ordered an inquiry into the incident and has also ordered the concerned officials to pay compensation to the farmer.
The panch and the Sarpanch have also promised of all the possible help to the farmer.
