The health workers have shifted the infants and the mother to the Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre in Kundla as the children were suffering from severe malnutrition.

However, the task of reaching the village was not an easy one for the doctors as the area is referred to as a 'den for Naxals' by the locals.

Undaunted by this challenge, the medical workers left for the village and walked for about 40 kilometres through the dense forest. The health workers had to face another challenge of convincing the family members to give them treatment as they were scared of stepping out of their village. After hours of counselling, the mother and the children were taken by the doctors to Kundla Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre where they are being provided with the required medical care and attention.

Braving all odds, they completed a distance of 70 kms in three days and saved the lives of the infants.
