Ghost fear keeps students away from this school in Chhattisgarh

Due to the fear of ghosts in the government pre-secondary school in Chhattisgarh Mahengragarh-Chimri-Bharatpur district, students stopped going to school.

Mahendragarh-Chimri-Bharatpur (Chhattisgarh): Fear of ghosts lurking around the premises of a government pre-secondary school in Baselpur of Savla Gram Panchayat in Chhattsigarh's Mahengragarh-Chimri-Bharatpur district has kept students away from it. The ghost theory acquired credence after five teachers of the school died in the past two years.

Earlier, students used to go to the school. However, in the last two years, five teachers working in the school died due to different reasons. Due to this, the children stopped going to school and the only staffer left was on leave so the school was closed for some time. According to sources, the fifth death occurred here on April 11, 2023.

School teacher Shyambihari suddenly died mysteriously. Virendra Singh died of brain haemorrhage, while Chandraprakash Paikra slept at home and he did not wake up in the morning. After retiring from the school, Principal Pathak Dharam Sai also died when he went home. Similarly, another teacher died mysteriously.

After five deaths in two years, villagers accepted that there is a presence of ghosts in the school. Teacher Monita Verma said that on April 11 when I was on leave, teacher Shyambihari sir passed away. That's why the school was closed. We will try to dispel the rumour of ghosts. School peon Rajesh said, "I have been working here for the last 12 years, but this is the situation for the last two years. Efforts are being made to remove the superstition spread among the people."

Block Education Officer (BEO) Jitendra Gupta said, "Most of the teachers of this school have died. There is only one teacher, who was on leave, that's why the school was closed. There is fear among people, but we are trying to eliminate this fear."
