Balrampur (Chhattisgarh): Jagdamba Singh, a differently-abled resident of Balrampur in Chhattisgarh, drives an auto to earn a livelihood for him and his family.
However, his vehicle has become old now, and he wants the government to step forward and support him to get a new three-wheeler since he has taken loans to maintain his auto in work.
"I don't earn much. I bought this auto long back and it faces issues. I take loans for its maintenance.
A new auto would help me," Singh told media. State's Social Welfare Department has been instructed to look into the matter of the differently-abled man.
"We have given directions to Social Welfare Department; we will help him to earn better livelihood in whatever way possible for us," said Sanjeev Kumar Jha, District Collector, Balrampur.
