Chhattisgarh youngster makes 2nd e- village of the country

Rajesh Kushwaha, son of a farmer of Silfili village in Sarguja district in Chhattisgarh has developed his own software company and fulfilling the dreams of many job aspirants. Silfili is the second e-village in the subcontinent to have its website. Due to the free Wifi for its people, it has become the first digital village of the country.

Rajesh Kushwaha, son of a farmer of Silfili village of Sarguja district in Chhattisgarh has developed his own software company and fulfilling the dreams of many job aspirants. After completing his BCA and M.sc in information technology, he set up a software development company.

First e-village in the state

After the Punsari Gram Panchayat in Gujarat, the first digital village, Silfili is the second e-village in the subcontinent to have its website. Due to the free Wifi for its people, it has become the first digital village of the country.

Many youngsters of Silfili village are also employed here. For their convenience, Rajesh has ensured computers that are installed at their homes. His employees are paid a respectable remuneration of Rs 15000 to Rs 20000 each month.

Branches local and abroad

Rajesh had started up his Digital and Network Company in different places. The Gurgaon office of his company employs 12 workers. As per the skill required for specific jobs, 7 different professionals are also associated with the Gurgaon office. The company has another office in Singapore too.

The turnover of Rajesh’s company is about Rs 6-7 crore. Not only did Rajesh start at the grassroots but also eventually managed to get for Silfili the status of second Digital village(e- village) in the country and the first such village in the state.

He had been also praised by the then Chief Minister Raman Singh. Even after such recognition Rajesh did not rest on his laurels and continued to contribute towards the village.

Rajesh has made his ancestral home in the village the head-office of his enterprise, and from here Rajesh works for clients across the globe. The company has offices in Delhi and Singapore too.
