Raipur (Chhattisgarh): At least five persons were killed after a fire broke out in Raipur's Rajdhani hospital on Saturday.
Other patients have been shifted to other hospitals.

"Five persons have lost their lives in the incident. Other patients have been shifted to other hospitals," Tarkeshwar Patel, Additional Superintendent of Police, said.
The police officer added an investigation will be done into the incident. Further details are awaited.
The reason why the fire erupted was not immediately known.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel called the disaster "very unfortunate" and expressed profound grief towards the families of the bereaved, said an official statement.

He announced a financial aid of each Rs 4 lakh to the families of the four who died.
Raipur Collector Dr. S. Bharathi Dasan and Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Yadav reached the spot and oversaw the rescue efforts.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed his condolences to the families of people who were killed in the fire incident. Taking to Twitter, the Congress leader wrote:
"The news of a fire incident in the ICU of a hospital in Raipur is sad. My condolences to the families who lost their loved ones." He also made an appeal to the state government that all assistance should be given to the bereaved families during this difficult time.
