Three men, who allegedly stole luxurious motorcycles from various parts of the national capitals, were arrested along with firearms.The accused have stolen more than 60 motorcycles mostly Royal Enfield, KTM.

New Delhi: Three men, who allegedly stole luxurious motorcycles from various parts of the national capital, were arrested along with firearms in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh, police said Friday.

The accused persons were identified as Prince (28), Pankaj Singh (30) and Sunny Rai (29), all residents of Siwan district in Bihar, they said.

In the last five months, the accused have stolen more than 60 motorcycles mostly Royal Enfield, KTM, etc. from Punjabi Bagh, Khyala, Tilak Nagar, Subhash Palace, Dwarka, Patel Nagar, South Rohini, Rajouri Garden and other parts of Delhi, police said.

Based on a tip-off, police arrested the three men from Madipur area on Thursday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Monika Bhardwaj.

For every Royal Enfield and KTM bike having a market value of Rs 1.7 lakh, receiver used to pay Rs 25,000, out of which Rs 5,000 was given to the transporter, Rs 3,000 for the road expenses, Rs 1,000 for the rail ticket and the remaining amount was distributed among other members, the officer said.

The accused persons used to steal Royal Enfield and KTM motorcycles from here and transport them to Bihar.

Pankaj along with his accomplices Prince and Sunny used to steal motorcycles and deliver them to other members of the gang in Siwan, the DCP said, adding that they used to go to Siwan district by road.

After delivering the motorcycles, they returned to Delhi by train, the officer said.
