Katihar (Bihar): In a horrifying incident, in Singhpur - a small village in Bihar's Katihar district under Ballia Belon police station area, three members of a family were found brutally murdered with their throats slit inside their own home on Tuesday night. The victims were identified as Safad Zareen, a 35-year-old woman, and her two young children, an eight-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son.

Upon receiving the distressing news, local authorities and law enforcement officers swiftly rushed to the crime scene to initiate a thorough investigation. The initial information suggests that the gruesome killings were carried out in the absence of the woman's husband, Firoz Akhtar, who was reportedly away watching a game of blackjack following the observance of Muharram.
