Tejashwi Yadav may meet Bageshwar Dham chief in Patna, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav also invited

Tejashwi Yadav has agreed to meet Bageshwar Dham chief but has not specified the date. Baba Bageshwar Foundation has also invited Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav to attend his sermons.

Patna: Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav is likely to meet self-styled godman Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Shastri during his ongoing program in Patna's Naubatpur from May 13 to 17. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav have also been invited at the program.

Arvind Thakur, patron of the organising committee went to Yadav's residence to invite him. He said that the Bageshwar Dham chief had expressed his desire to meet Yadav. The deputy CM has accepted the invitation but has not specified when he would come, Thakur said. Also, Lalu Yadav may come to attend the program depending on his health condition, he added.

"Tejashwi Yadav has sent an SMS about attending the program. Now, let's see when he can come. I have invited him personally and he too has assured to come. If we get the blessings of Lord Hanuman then he will definitely come. If Lalu ji's health is fine, he too will come," Thakur, coordinator of Baba Bageshwar Foundation said.

Earlier, Lalu's elder son Lal Tej Pratap had threatened to protest at Patna airport prior to Shastri's arrival. Following which, political situation has intensified in Bihar with BJP leaders claiming that they would take all measures to ensure that his discourse goes unhindered.

Huge crowds of people have been gathering at his sermons at Taret Pali Math in Naubatpur in Patna. On Sunday, about 15 lakh people had gathered there. However, many devotees fell ill due to the huge crowd, following which, the program has been called off today.
