The body of journalist's son was found dead in a pond. The deceased was identified as Chunnu Kumar, son of senior journalist Ashutosh Kumar Arya.

Nalanda (Bihar): Son of a senior journalist was killed by unidentified persons in Hasanpur village of Harnaut police station area on Sunday.

According to the information, accused blinded the deceased before killing him.

The deceased was identified as Chunnu Kumar, son of senior journalist Ashutosh Kumar Arya. Arya is the local bureau chief of Hindustan Hindi daily.

According to the victim's relatives they were worried as he did not return home after he left in the afternoon. Later his body was discovered by the locals in a pond not very far away from his home and the matter was immediately informed to police .

Nalanda Superintendent of Police Nilesh Kumar said, "His both the eyes were bleeding when examined. Besides this, no injury was seen on the body. The cause of death will be known after post-mortem."

Further investigation is underway.
