New Delhi: BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav thanked the people of Pataliputra constituency after registering a victory from Bihar's Pataliputra Lok Sabha seat by defeating RJD supremo Lalu Yadav's daughter Misa Bharti.
Speaking to ETV Bharat the saffron party leader said, "I thank the people of Pataliputra constituency for my victory. Every member of the Yadav family tried their level best to defeat me. While NDA won 39 out of 40 seats in Bihar, it bagged more than 300 seats alone and NDA won more than 350 seats across the country."
He said that everybody benefited from the schemes initiated by PM Modi.
"After this defeat, RJD's future is over. It happened for the first time when RJD did not win a single seat in the Lok Sabha elections whereas the Mahagathbandhan has also failed miserably," he added.
