Sasaram: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has said that people were having a far better life during the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav, and no one, whether a public representative or an ordinary person, was given the due importance during the Nitish Kumar rule.
Addressing a huge public rally at Dehri town of Rohtas district of the state hours before the election campaign came to an end for the first phase of polling on 28 October, the chief ministerial candidate for the Mahagathbandhan said if voted to power, he would change the trend and officials, who work, would be honored and no one indulging in wrongdoing would be spared.
Attacking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said: "who did not provide any employment, establish any industry during the past 15 years, what he would do in the next five years."
He also said that the Chief Minister, who is travelling by helicopters for his political rallies, did not bring out even one to help migrant workers reach home during the lockdown.
