New Delhi: Claiming that the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) is united, MP Pashupati Kumar Paras said all party members will stand by the decisions of party president, Chirag Paswan. According to rumours in political circles, if Chirag Paswan breaks ties with NDA and decides to contest in 143 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, four of his party members -- Pashupati Kumar Paras, Mehboob Ali Kesar, Chandan Singh and Veena Singh -- may leave LJP.
Calling the news about rifts in the party just a rumor, Paras said the opposition was behind it. Paras said that LJP is like a mother to him where all his and party members' loyalties lie.
"I have been with the party since its birth on November 28, 2000, and have dedicated blood and sweat to it. I, therefore, stand by every decision of the party," Paras said.

Paras is Chirag's uncle and he came forward to quash the rumours of a rift in the party.
The tension between JDU and LJP has increased considerably with Chirag wanting to contest 43 seats in the assembly elections and his 'Bihar first Bihari first' vision to be included in the NDA manifesto.
In the 12 legislators that were to be nominated in the Legislative Council from Governor's quota, Chirag wanted 2 seats but could not reach an agreement on the issues with JDU.
