Gaya: The residence of former MLC and BJP leader Anuj Kumar Singh was blasted allegedly by Naxals in Dumariya on Wednesday night.
The explosion was reportedly carried out using dynamites. No casualties have been reported yet.
"Around 20-30 Naxalites of the Communist Party of India (CPI) armed with weapons blew up the house of the BJP leader. However, there was no one inside the house and hence, no casualties have occurred," Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaya Rajeev Mishra said.
The Naxals also left a poster calling for boycott of elections.
A police investigation is currently underway.
