BJP accuses Tejaswi of making false accusations against JD(U) to stay politically relevant

Hitting out at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav over his allegations of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar engaging in back channel lobbying to join the 'Mahagathbandhan' or grand alliance if the coalition declared him the Prime Ministerial candidate in the Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MLC and national media in-charge Sanjay Mayukh rubbished the claims and accused Tejaswi of piggybacking on Kumar to remain politically relevant.

Bihar: With Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav revealing details of an alleged back channel lobbying by Janta Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar to join the 'Mahagathbandhan' or grand alliance if the coalition declared him the Prime Ministerial candidate in the Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) an ally of Bihar Chief Minister has rubbished the claims made by Yadav.

BJP MLC Sanjay Mayukh says that Tejaswi is engaging in such dialogues to remain politically relevant

Denouncing Yadav's allegations, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MLC and national media in-charge Sanjay Mayukh said, "Tejaswi lacks experience. He thinks that he can form a government with less than 40 seats. He is becoming restless in his hunger for power and is indulging in such dialogues as it wants to remain politically relevant by piggybacking on Nitish Kumar."

Further taking taking a dig at the RJD leader, Mayukh said, " The people of Bihar have already rejected the party. Nitish Kumar is a veteran and has earned the trust of the public."

Tejashwi has also claimed that Nitish used his close confidant, Prashant Kishore, to convince the RJD chief Lalu Prasdad Yadav into agreement. He further alleged that Nitish Kumar said that he will return favours by making
