New Delhi: RLSP leader Akash Kumar Singh said on Friday that he was defeated in the Lok Sabha election due to tampering of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM).
Talking to ETV Bharat, Singh said he anticipated a victory because he had full support from the people of East Champaran.
The RLSP leader said that thousands of people attended his public rally and an equal number cheered him when he went to file his nomination papers.

Whereas, BJP candidate Radha Mohan Singh was hardly accompanied by people when he filed the nomination, he said.
However, it was surprising and unexpected victory of Radha Mohan Singh which led him to believe that the EVMs were tampered, he added.
“I'll continue to serve the people of Champaran and will try to solve their problems,” he said.
Singh was one of the youngest candidates who contested in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. He said that he will remain in RLSP and work to strengthen the party.
