New Delhi: Bihar Minister and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) president Mukesh Sahani on Thursday said that he has demanded an additional ministerial berth for his party in Bihar from Home Minister Amit Shah.
Sahani said his meeting with the Home Minister was positive, as Shah assured him that his demands would be considered.
Sahani said he spoke with Shah about reservation for the Nishad community in Bihar. A decision on this should be taken soon as the NDA is in power both at the Centre and in Bihar, he said.
He also demanded that an NDA meeting be conducted every 15 days on the working of the Bihar government.
Sahani said that he demanded an MLC post, and that another member of his party also be made a minister in Bihar besides him.
Sahani said that his party should be given the additional ministerial berth when the cabinet is expanded next in Bihar.
