Patna: In a shocking incident, a man shot at his mother in a fit of rage on Thursday in Marachi village of Bihar, an official said.
According to local sources, the accused has been identified as Angad Kumar. While the mother continues to battle for life, the accused has been taken into custody.
Police said a countrymade gun was recovered from his possession. "The boy was outside his home, supposedly playing with his friends. His mother called him several times for a meal, he didn't turn up. She then went out to call him in. Out of his anger, he fired a shot at his mother's head," police said.

Cops also added that a case has been registered and the probe is underway.
