Nalanda (Bihar): A man was arrested here on Sunday for allegedly threatening Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
According to information, the accused deactivated his social media accounts after his post went viral.
According to the police investigation, the accused Tanveer Khan is a resident of Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh and posted as a forest officer in Bihar's Rajgir. He allegedly posted a life threatening remark on social media against CM Adityanath on April 24.
After which a police team reached Nalanda and held him from Biharsharif police line, where he was staying.
"A case has been registered against him, and UP police arrested and took him back with them," Deepnagar SHO Dharmendra Kumar said.
