New Delhi: Bihar Congress Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Singh has claimed that Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) President Jitan Ram Manjhi and Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni are likely to quit the NDA government owing to differences among party leaders.
Singh claimed that Majhi and Sahni are uncomfortable in the NDA government.
He said that the two leaders will soon quit NDA following which the state government will fall and Nitish Kumar has to step down from the post of Chief Minister as he has done nothing special for the people of the state for the last 15 years.

Expressing hope that a grand coalition government will be formed in Bihar, he alleged that the unstable Nitish Kumar government has failed ever since it came to power.
Amid the Covid crisis, there are no beds, ventilators, oxygen cylinders and medicines in hospitals. Many people died due to the Covid mismanagement of the Bihar government as it does not take any advice from its allies and failed to keep them informed, Singh alleged.
Singh said, HAM and VIP are unsatisfied with the NDA as both the parties had asked for one MLC seat each from the governor's quota, which have been rejected.
Manjhi recently criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's images on the Covid vaccination certificates.

Also, Sahni had demanded to include the Mallah caste in the SC category in Bihar but no decision has been taken yet.
Notably, HAM and VIP have entered NDA due to the grand alliance.
Nearly, 122 MLAs are needed in the Bihar Assembly to form the government.
BJP has 74 MLAs while JDU, HAM and VIP have 45, 4 and 4 MLAs respectively.
