Madhubani murder case was racial violence: JDU MP Sunil Pintu

JDU MP Sunil Pintu said that the "Madhubani murder case was not a massacre instead it was racial violence." He was referring to the killing of five persons on Holi in the Madhubani district.

New Delhi: JDU MP Sunil Pintu on Tuesday said that the "Madhubani murder case was not a massacre instead it was racial violence." He referred to the killing of five persons on Holi in the Madhubani district.

The whole battle is about the capture of the fish pond between two villages. Those involved in the killing will not be spared and strict action would be taken against them, said Pintu.

Speaking on the matter, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday said that action would be taken against those who are involved in the murder. The accused will be caught soon and speedy trial will be conducted against them.

Earlier, five-person were brutally killed in Mohmadpur village under the Benipatti police station area in Madhubani district. After the incident, there had been a continuous political clash between the BJP and JDU. Meanwhile, BJP leaders are alleging the involvement of the police.
