Gopalganj (Bihar): The relationship between a mother and a child is considered as the most 'pious' in this world. We come to know several stories which narrate the eternal love and affection of a mother towards her children, but today ETV Bharat tells you a special case in which a son build his own cemetery beside his mother's graveyard.
Manzoor Hasan (52), a native of Bihar's Balha village, has immense love for his mother. His love towards his mom led him to build a graveyard of his own beside the cemetery of his mother.
"I lost my mother on the very unfortunate day of June 13, 1999. At that time, I was only 32. I couldn't believe that my mother had left me alone in this world. I have never imagined a single day without her. The loss of her is just like a thirsty man has lost the last drop of water", said Hasan.
It took Hasan years to handle himself from the unendurable loss. In order to be close to his mother, he has decided to build his own graveyard.
"Every day, my day starts with worshipping my mother at her cemetery. I light Agarbattis and candles on a regular basis. I have asked my children to place me just beside my mother once I lose my breath", said Hasan.
While talking to ETV Bharat, Hasan said that his mom loves green colour as it is a mark of victory and joy. So he decided to purchase his own shroud.
"I know my children are busy with their work. It might be possible that they will wrap my dead body according to the Muslim tradition. Therefore, I have requested my children to wrap my dead body in that green shroud which I have bought", added Hasan.
Hasan said he always remembers his mother's life lesson, "If you want to end the rivalry, start loving them."
