'Jungle Raj is under NDA rule, Lalu Ji's tenure was of social justice'

New Delhi: National Spokesperson of RJD, Prof. Subodh Mehta, has hit back at BJP National President JP Nadda. He said that Nadda was not aware of the facts. 'Jungle Raj' is under the NDA rule. It was not during the rule of RJD.

The RJD spokesperson said that according to Bihar Police Crime Record Data available on March 2021, 1680 kidnapping cases were registered in Bihar in 2001 under RJD rule, while in 2020 there are 10,500 during NDA rule. Rape cases were 750 in 2001 which increased to 1500 in 2020. In 2001, the cases of cognisable offence were 95000 which increased to 2 lakh 75 thousand in 2020.

Subodh Mehta added that the entire BJP including JP Nadda is suffering from Lalu and RJD phobia. When Lalu Yadav became the Chief Minister, the work for social justice in Bihar started. The poor and the downtrodden got strength. The development reached the last person of the society. Those who remember the rule of RJD should also look at the work done in the 15-year-old rule by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Earlier, the BJP National President JP Nadda addressed the Bihar BJP Working Committee meeting from Delhi through video conferencing. He slammed RJD supremo Lalu Yadav and said that under Lalu Yadav's rule, no one used to leave the house after five o'clock in the evening. Kidnappings were going on like an industry. There was a jungle raj in Bihar. We are seeing Bihar growing from that era, blooming today. BJP has a big contribution to this new development.
