Patna: RJD candidate Misa Bharti on Thursday attacked Modi saying that had 'chowkidaar' been alert, 42 sisters would not have become widows.
Addressing an election rally after filing her nomination from Patliputra, she further asked the Prime Minister that if his administration was strong enough, then why it failed to track the truck loaded with RDX.

While campaigning in Patliputra, she also attacked the National Democratic Alliance. In the Mahagathbandhan election rally, she said that NDA government keeps saying that the opposition lacks issues but on the contrary, it is NDA that lacks issues.
She said that she was getting an overwhelming response during her poll campaign. "I am telling the people that I won't promise you the moon, but I will try to develop this constituency," she added.

Misa Bharti had unsuccessfully contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Patliputra. She was defeated by the BJP's Ram Kripal Yadav, an RJD rebel who joined the saffron party after being denied ticket from the constituency by Lalu Prasad. He is currently Minister of State for Rural Development in the Narendra Modi Cabinet.
