Gaya: Kalachakra means a cycle of time. Which is an important part of Tibetan Buddhism. It is also called the great ceremony of Tantra. Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, initiated the pooja supported by the Daksha Lamas. Apart from Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, Japan, Myanmar, Spain, Russia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Buddhist devotees and tourists from many countries participate in it.
Regarding Kalachakra Pooja, Buddhist devotees of Bodh Gaya say that Buddhists of Bhutan and Tibet worship Kalachakra with great faith. In this, Bhoomi Pujan is done by the Dharmaguru for the construction of the first mandala. After that, Mandala is constructed by Buddhist Lamas under the supervision of Dharmaguru by Tantric law. For this, the land is selected in the north-east direction. A pit is dug on the selected land and then it is filled with soil from this pit. It is believed that if the soil is more than the pit then it is auspicious. Whereas if it falls short then it is inauspicious.
Lamas dance in traditional costumes to keep the Mandal site away from evil spirits on the second day of worship. Then a holy line is drawn for Mandala. The construction of Mandala takes three days.
What is Kalachakra worship, why do foreigners have faith in it?
Kalachakra Pooja is called the Mahakumbh of Buddhist devotees. In this, spiritual practice is conducted to make the soul pure and strong for the attainment of Buddhahood.

This is the worship of Buddhism done by Tantric actions for peace. Special people participate in this pooja. The formulas of the method of worship are spoken through painting. A full circle is made. The meaning spoken in the cycle is represented by a period from the painting. Time is also assessed in Kalachakra Pooja.
The foundation of the Kalachakra is kept on the four values of truth. If those who preach Buddhism take initiation during the Kalachakra, it means that the seeker can now try the Kalachakra Tantra. The main goddess of Kalachakra Tantra shows the union of male and female Tantra. On the last day of Kalachakra Pooja, the lord of the religious leader is wished.
Story of Kalachakra Pooja
There is also a story behind Kalachakra Pooja. According to the famous Tibetan scholar Taranath, Lord Buddha transmitted the knowledge of Kalachakra to the great stupa of Sri Dhanyakataka on the full moon of Chaitra month. He also initiated Kalachakra mandalas at this place, since then Kalachakra Pooja got started.

There is no barrier of caste-religion to participate in Kalachakra Pooja. For the welfare of the world, Kalachakra Pooja has special importance in establishing human values like truth, peace, non-violence, kindness, compassion, forgiveness. People of the country and the world unite by eradicating caste and religion when they’re together for the Kalachakra ritual. The distinction between rich and poor, high and low is erased on this occasion.
