New Delhi: In order to discuss and decide on Bihar Assembly elections, Congress Central Election Committee meeting was held at the residence of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi.
Besides Mrs Gandhi, Ambika Soni, AK Antony, Congress screening committee chairman Avinash Pandey and other members were also present in the meeting.
In addition, Bihar Congress in-charge Shakti Singh Gohil, Bihar Congress president Madan Mohan Jha, Congress Legislature Party leader Sadanand Singh were also present in this meeting. The meeting lasted for about four hours.
Congress CEC meeting
The first phase of voting will be held on October 28. Decisions were made on the seats Congress will be contesting, the list of candidates and the issues to be addressed by Congress.
