Patna: Clashes broke out between the supporters of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Rajya Sabha MP Ravindra Kishore Sinha at Patna airport on Tuesday after the latter was denied the ticket from Patna Saheb constituency.
Two groups of political supporters got into a scuffle at the JP airport after the union minister reached here for a poll campaign.
A group of BJP workers started protesting raising slogans of 'Ravi Shankar Prasad, go back, go back! RK Sinha zindabad'. They have also shown black flags to the union minister during the protest rally.
Additional police force has been deployed at the clash site after the crowd gathered outside the airport. Police are trying to take the situation under control.
The two BJP leaders were in the fray for the BJP ticket from Patna Saheb, however, Ravi Shankar Prasad got the party ticket.
