How long the sons of India will continue to become martyrs?:Captain Ashutosh Kumar's father

A pall of gloom hung heavy at the house of Captian Ashutosh Kumar who was martyred in Kashmir on Sunday. The Army was trying to foil an infiltration bid in the Machil sector on Saturday night.

Madhepura (Bihar): Three Indian Army soldiers and a Border Security Force (BSF) troopers were killed near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.

The Army was trying to foil an infiltration bid in the Machil sector on Saturday night. The four were killed while neutralising three terrorists during the anti-terror operation from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir.

Two Army soldiers were also injured in the gunfight.

Captian Ashutosh Kumar(24), a resident of Kheladh block in the district was martyred in a terrorist encounter. Ashutosh became a captain in the army two years ago and was posted in Jammu and Kashmir for 9 months.

Three terrorists have been killed in the gunbattle. AK-47s have also been seized. Captain Ashutosh killed two terrorists in the encounter.

Ashutosh had joined the Indian Army in 2013.

Ashutosh's Father Rabindra Bharti received information about his son’s martyrdom in the evening.

''Why is the Prime Minister silent?' I am proud of my son. He died while protecting our own country but why the Prime Minister is silent? How long the sons of India will continue to be martyred," said Ashutosh's father Ravindra Kumar Bharti.
