Patna: Nearly three months have passed since the Nitish Kumar government was formed with a small cabinet in Bihar after the conclusion of state assembly elections. Since then, talks of cabinet expansion have been going on, but of no use.
Amid all this, the Chief Minister has been spotted meeting other party MLAs a number of times, creating a stir.
Besides Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MLA, Kumar has also met 5 MLAs of Asaduddin Owaisi's party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).
While speculations are rife the BJP is pressuring Kumar, the saffron party's spokesperson has categorically denied the claim and said that the BJP is a big organisation and no one is pressurising anyone.
"Nitish Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Minister by the BJP itself. There is a synergy between us and there is no pressure from anywhere," BJP spokespersons Arvind Kumar and Vinod Sharma said.

At the same time, Akhilul Iman, the state president of AIMIM and MLA from Amanor said that Nitish Kumar is already weak and is constantly compromising in this way.
In Bihar, the case of 12 seats of MLC to be filled with the Governor quota is hanging by a thread. Nitish Kumar is constantly targeted by the opposition regarding law and order.
