Bihar Elections: Yogi urges people to vote for Nitish, pitches impetus to national security

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi launched a blistering attack on the opposition in Bihar, helmed by the RJD and the Congress, accusing the two parties of indulging in corruption and placing family interests above people's welfare. He urged the people of Bihar to vote his development-oriented counterpart Nitish Kumar back to power while underscoring that the BJP, an alliance partner, has fulfilled its promises on emotive issues like Ayodhya, Kashmir and Pakistan.

Patna: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday urged the people of Bihar to vote his development-oriented counterpart Nitish Kumar back to power while underscoring that the BJP, an alliance partner, has fulfilled its promises on emotive issues like Ayodhya, Kashmir and Pakistan.

On Tuesday, UP CM campaign in the Ramgarh, Arwal and Karakat constituencies. In Ramgarh(Bhabhua), Yogi sought to strike a chord with the people of Bihar by reminding them 'when millions of migrants were forced to flee Delhi by the Aam Aadmi Party government, we in UP received them with warm water to wash their tired feet and freshly prepared food to nourish their bodies before they undertook the onward journey back home'.

The UP chief minister launched a blistering attack on the opposition in the state, helmed by the RJD and the Congress, accusing the two parties of indulging in corruption and placing family interests above people's welfare.

''So voracious is their hunger that when they were not left with anything else to eat up, they ended up devouring the fodder meant for cattle,'' said Adityanath, referring to RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

In his second poll rally in Karakat assembly constituency, UP CM Yogi Adityanath remarked, 'Now, Pakistan backed terrorists cannot enter Kashmir and attack jawans. Because if they do so, the Indian Army would go to Pakistan in order to kill the enemy. They won't be able to do anything.

Now, no one can say 'Bharat tere tukde honge' in JNU. Such slogans cannot be chanted. Now, the only slogan is being chanted in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat'. There is a united and great India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.'

In the public meeting of Arwal, UP CM Yogi said that we always used to say that Ramlala we will come and build the temple there itself. The obstructors in the Ram temple were Congress, RJD and Left. But Modi ji has paved the way for temple construction on 5 August.
