New Delhi: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday. During more than an hour of meetings, she explained all necessary steps taken during floods in the state.
Seeking special aids to support farmers and those who faced losses due the flood, the Dy CM also discussed about renovating schools with 520-bed hostel in 12 districts of the state. She also sought aid to increase the number of schools for girls in the state. PM and Home Minister have assured for all possible help, she added.
Renu Devi said "The central government is continuously helping the Bihar government. Our state has been benefited from the various schemes implemented by the NDA government in Bihar and at the Centre. In today's meeting, we discussed about ongoing development works in Bihar."
